      Welcome to the KnowledgeCity Learning Portal, your gateway to personal and professional growth. This article provides a step-by-step guide to navigate the portal and make the most out of the vast resources available.

      Getting Started: Accessing the Learning Portal

      Signing In

      Your journey begins with a simple sign-in process:

      • Visit the Login Page: Head over to the portal’s login page.

      • Click the Sign In Button: Begin the process by clicking on the Sign In button.

      • Enter Your Credentials: Use the username and password provided to you.

      • Request Access if Needed: If you don’t have the required credentials or haven’t been assigned one, you can use the Request Access option to reach out to the admin for assistance.
        Note: Some organizations may have Single Sign-On (SSO) or alternate login methods set up for added convenience.

      • Submit Your Information: Click the Submit button to access your personalized dashboard.

      This secure login process is designed to be straightforward so you can quickly start exploring all that KnowledgeCity has to offer.

      Navigating Your Dashboard

      Your dashboard is the control center of your learning experience. Here’s what you can expect:

      My Learning

      The My Learning section offers a comprehensive overview of your progress:

      • Track Your Progress: Monitor your course completion and see how many points you’ve earned.

      • Leaderboard: Check your ranking based on points earned—an engaging way to stay motivated.

      • Detailed Insights:

        • My Points: View a detailed breakdown of the points earned per course.

        • Recently Viewed: Quickly revisit courses you’ve engaged with recently.

        • Course Cycles: Understand the structure and progression of your courses.

        • Historical Progress & Certificates: Access your course history and download certificates of completion

      Note: If the leaderboard is not available, it can be toggled on by your admin in the account settings.

      AI-Powered TNA Tool

      Discover our innovative Training Needs Analysis (TNA) AI-Powered Tool, designed to help you self-assess and identify the training you need to excel. This feature empowers you to take control of your learning path by recommending courses based on your current skill set and future goals.

      Calendar Integration

      Stay organized with our integrated calendar, which displays all important dates such as assignment due dates and course availability periods. This ensures you’re always in tune with your learning schedule.

      My Assignments

      In the My Assignments section, you will find courses that have been specifically assigned to you. You can easily manage and monitor your learning activities by using the available filters:

      • By Type:

        • All

        • Courses

        • Learning Paths

        • Skill Paths

      • By Status:

        • Not Started

        • In Progress

        • Viewed

        • Passed

      • By Due Date:

        • All

        • Upcoming

        • Overdue

        • Not Set

      • Reset Filters: If needed, simply click on Reset Filters to clear your selections and start afresh.

      Assignments can also be sorted.

      • First assigned

      • Last assigned

      • Higher progress

      • Lower progress

      Exploring the Library

      The Library is your portal to tens of thousands of course videos across various categories. Here’s how to make the most of it:

      1. Access the Library:

        • Click on the Library tab to view all available categories and subcategories.

      2. Browse by Category:

        • Select a category that interests you to display the relevant courses.

        • Use the side navigation menu to switch between different categories seamlessly.

      3. Filter Your Search:

        • Course Type: Filter by All, On-Demand, or Instructor-Led courses.

        • Skill Level: Choose courses that match your expertise level—Essential, Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced.

        • Runtime: Sort courses by duration, ranging from under 10 minutes to courses that span 3+ hours.

      This intuitive system ensures that you can quickly find the perfect course to match your interests and needs.

      Starting Your Training

      Once you’ve found a course that piques your interest, getting started is simple:

      1. Select a Course:

        • Click on the course name from the Library menu.

      2. Course Page Details:

        • Overview: Read a detailed course description outlining key concepts and objectives.

        • Course Author & Duration: Learn about the course creator and get an estimate of the time required to complete the course.

        • Feedback Option: Share your thoughts or leave feedback about the course.

      3. Additional Information:

        • Content Tab: View the number of lessons along with the total duration.

        • Transcript Tab: Switch to this tab for pointers and detailed lesson breakdowns to better understand the course structure.

      Engaging with Courses

      Effective learning is at the heart of KnowledgeCity. Here’s how you can stay engaged throughout your courses:

      Watching Videos

      • Interactive Learning:
        Click on the video player or select a lesson to start watching.

      • Video Controls:
        Videos can be paused, fast-forwarded, and the playback speed can be increased or decreased using the speed setting feature.

      • Captions & Audio:
        Captions can be switched to multiple languages, and the audio track can also be changed to different languages.

      • Quality Options:
        Select the video quality from 240p to 1080p based on your requirement.

      • Progress Indicator:
        A green checkmark appears once you’ve successfully viewed a video, confirming your progress.

      Course Completion

      • Quizzes: Once you’ve viewed all lessons, you’re ready to test your knowledge.

      • Certification Test:

        • Click on the Certification Test button to begin.

        • The test includes multiple-choice and true/false questions that are randomly selected to cover the key takeaways from the course.

      Earning Certificates

      • Receive Certification:
        Upon successfully passing the course quiz, you’ll earn a certificate of completion—a tangible reward and a testament to your acquired knowledge and skills.

      • Accredited Certification Credits:
        For applicable courses, accredited certification program credits from PMI, SHRM, HRCI, and IIBA will be awarded upon completion.
