Navigating the LMS Curriculum Page

The Curriculum feature of the KnowledgeCity LMS offers insightful progress statistics and essential capabilities to manage the learning experience more efficiently. Below are the key features that help administrators understand and export valuable data, and also aid students in tracking their progress.

Accessing Curriculum Statistics

To view progress statistics for published courses, navigate to the Curriculum option found in the left-side panel of the LMS. Here, you’ll be able to see comprehensive statistics that provide insights on course progress. All courses published in the Category Manager of the LMS will be displayed in the Curriculum course table.


Courses in the Curriculum can be searched by course title or course ID.

The Curriculum table can be filtered by All Courses or by Active Courses (only courses with student progress). The results can be filtered further by course category.

Course details in the Curriculum will display under columns of information including the course title, course ID, course categories, course type, and progress statistics.


The course results of the table can also be sorted for specific progress, such as:

  • Course views per day
  • Course views per month
  • Courses in progress 
  • Viewed courses (Viewed but not yet passed)
  • Passed courses

For a more detailed look at individual user progression. click on the numbers within the progress columns to view the list of users corresponding to a particular statistic.

Exporting Curriculum to Excel

To export these statistics for further analysis or reporting:

  1. If necessary, set filters at the top of the page to segment data based on certain criteria.
  2. Click Export to Excel in the top-right corner of the Curriculum page to begin the export process.
  3. A pop-up will appear proposing you to view the report. Click Go to reports.
  4. On the Reports page, click on the top line in the list.
  5. Click Download to export the statistics and save them to your device as an Excel file.


Downloading Course Certificates

When the courses are completed, certificates can be downloaded:

  1. Click the button with an arrow located near the course you want to work with to handle certificates.
  2. A pop-up will suggest viewing the report. Click Go to reports.
  3. On the Reports page, click on the top line in the list.
  4. Your browser will begin downloading a .zip file containing all available certificates for that course.


These features allow for efficient management of the educational content, and give both administrators and students easy access to important data and documents within the KnowledgeCity LMS experience. Always make sure your browser is up-to-date for the best performance while downloading reports and certificates.
